Forget ULEZ zones

Air quality is improving all the time without ULEZ as the transition to electric is gaining pace as good second hand vehicles enter the market. Maintaining access to shopping areas.

Concentrate on vehicles that do the most miles in polluted areas for conversion to clean fuel. Such as delivery vehicles, taxis, buses and of course bin lorries and sweepers. Encourage these vehicles to change fuel to a clean source. Not green diesel which is less polluting but far from clean.

Cleaning the air in town centres by concentrating on the worst polluting vehicles.

They may not have the worst polluting engines but do far more miles leading to greater pollution.
