Electrify municipal fleet

Start to electrify the municipal fleet. Low mileage and nightly return to depot makes the vehicles ideal. Green diesel only reduces tailpipe pollution, BEV is tailpipe pollution free. Start with high pollution zones in Perth and Creiff for sweepers and bin lorries. Lorries are the worst polluters not only do they produce more noxious gases they run for hours on end. Wheras commuting / shopping cars only drive less than an hour per day.  You have more than enough real estate to generate you own energy offsetting even more of the fuel cost. But the greatest saving would be to the health of locals not breathing in noxious fumes.
